Placed in position isolated on the southern slope of Etna, surrounded by lava flows of different ages and woods of chestnut trees, represent the ideal base for an active holiday in contact with nature, or the opportunity to experience days to regenerate at a slow pace and fill up on the mountain air.

The main chalet was built in 1976 by a company from Trentino, specialized in construction of wooden structures.

In 1983 one of the most violent eruptions of a period occurred considered recent, during which a majestic lava front passed a few meters from the chalet, leaving it miraculously intact. Not far away, however, you can admire the casting of 2000.

This means that one can marvel in front of the lava river that makes the environment surrounding similar to a lunar landscape.
